Hi Mentors,
I was not how to sure how formulate this question for Google.
I been using the Web Storm IDE to write web pages with html, css, jquery. I've been using Visual Studio 2013 Express to build a simple code first database.
I guess I have to move over to VS express for web. Is there a tutorial that anyone could recommend for how to mix web code and backend C# in VS express for web?
Sorry if this question is not wonderfully formulated. I am novice who may not know the correct terms.

Interesting question. And don't apologize for being a novice; in some sense we all are; simply because technology is changing so fast.
And I have more questions. If you have client-side jQuery (are you developing for Mobile specifically?); what kind of a back-end service layer do you envision you are going to call from jQuery in the client? I'm not familiar with the term "code first database"; can you explain that a bit more? Is it; or does it expose a service layer you can call from the web via jQuery in the client browser?
An interesting aspect of the mentoring is going to be finding the right person to answer your questions expediently. :-)

A few weeks ago, Microsoft released Visual Studio 2013 Community, which is a free version of Visual Studio that is not platform-specific, unlike the various incarnations of Visual Studio Express. See this blog post for details on the differences between VS Community and VS Express, and this page to download VS Community.
